The new IRI.KPAD digital keypad in the IRIDE series is here. It is a new control concept with an aluminium external casing that combines exclusive design with maximum protection against vandalism.
IRI.KPAD has a polished glass-effect front panel, mechanical chrome-plated buttons and LED back-lighting. The new keypad is quick and easy to install and comes in two versions, wireless and wired. The wireless version handles three types of code: rolling code, programmable code and Advanced Rolling Code (ARC), the last of which guarantees absolute security. The (wireless) IRI.KPAD comes with a lithium battery, has an outdoor range of 100 m and can store up to 254 codes.
In the radio version, the keypad can also be used as a proximity switch. With this function, a command can be sent when the keypad is activated or woken up. Codes can be managed hierarchically offering maximum flexibility: access codes can be personalised for each user or specific users and codes can be deactivated. A single parent code can be created and a certain number of child codes associated with it. This can be done without intervening in the receiver memory, making the system easier to install. Unlike the radio version, the wired version (IRI.KPAD.C) must be connected directly to the control centre (stand-alone mode) or a BE.REC decoder (remote-control mode). In the latter case, more codes can be stored: 254 compared with 30 in stand-alone mode. Connection to the BE.REC decoder is also recommended as it offers greater security against tampering and access to advanced programming functions.
Both IRI.KPAD versions give acoustic and light feedback when the buttons are pressed.
IRI.KPAD: unique and exclusive.
