Bollard installation and preliminary checks. How to evaluate the permeability of the ground?

When we think about the installation of a bollard to protect the entrance of a private or a public place, there are some essential preliminary checks to carry out. One of these concerns the permeability of the ground. The test to do is really simple, but it contributes in a very quick and effective way to helping the installer arrange the installation correctly. There are three phases:

- DIGGING A HOLE and prepare a proper draining bottom
- DRAINAGE CHECK: pour about 40 litres of water into the excavation and wait. If the water takes more than 25 minutes to be absorbed, you have to install a proper drainage system by following the next step
- GUIDED DRAINAGE SYSTEM: to facilitate the disposal of residual water simulated in point 1, if the drainage is not carried out within the time limit provided above, it will be necessary to lay a parallel tub next to the excavation in which water must be conveyed through proper pipes The whole range of RISE bollards was conceived to achieve a twofold purpose, namely to guarantee the highest safety through a simple installation in few easy steps.

The preliminary evaluation of the place where the product will be installed is of paramount importance. It is also essential to install a product in a quick and simple way. In order to meet the demands of the installers, RISE has supplied all its products with a foundation box, which can be assembled on site without welding.
