Benincà is Company Ambassador for the 4th "Ingenio al Femminile" Degree Thesis competition. Prizes will be awarded to the 4 best undergraduate theses written by women in different branches of engineering and will also include a special prize dedicated to the memory of Giulia Cecchettin, a biomedical engineering student at the University of Padua who was a victim of femicide shortly after graduating. For this reason, this special award is exclusively for theses in biomedical engineering. And finally, a fifth prize has also been introduced for the best PhD thesis. Anna Benincà, Group HR Manager, strongly believes in the importance of breaking down gender stereotypes in the workplace, especially in qualified positions, where women can make even more of a difference.
"Benincà is a solid company because it has been operating in the gate and garage door automation industry for over 40 years. We have always focused on innovation as evidenced by the fact that we work on new projects every day. That’s why technical skills are crucial. We are an international company, but also a passionate family of talents that we want to grow through shared paths. We have decided to join the “Ingenio Femminile” (Female Ingenuity) project because for us work is not a matter of gender, but of competence. And we want competence to lead each one of us on our professional path. Furthermore, we believe women bring new skills and new points of view. We believe work is not a matter of gender but of competence, which must be used to create one’s own path.”
