The QR code has finally arrived!

From today, all our TO.GO4A remote controls feature a QR code, while the TO.GO2A model will have it as standard by April 2025.

What is the QR code on a remote control for? Its function is actually very simple: it allows the installer to add the remote control to a receiver installed anywhere in the world without needing to be on-site! This QR code is unique for each remote control and contains information about the serial number and model, including the type of radio coding transmitted (advanced rolling code, rolling code, or fixed code).

How is this possible? Normally, a remote control is memorized in a receiver, but this method is different. In this case, it is not necessary to transmit the radio code by pressing the remote’s button. Instead, simply scan the QR code with the BeUP app and save the remote control in the receiver or in a radio list for future management. You can also assign a name to each remote or easily modify the association between buttons and receiver channels. All of this is possible as long as the pro.UP module is connected to the control unit and configured for internet communication. If pro.UP is not online, it can still be used for remote control management within the range of its WiFi network. The advantages are clear: the installer can fully manage remote controls from a distance without needing to visit the site. And by "fully," we mean adding, deleting, enabling or disabling, moving, and activating them on other systems—all conveniently via the BePRO app or portal (www.beninca.cloud).

This translates into a more efficient, faster, and cost-effective service, both in sales and support!
