At the beginning of 2025, the RISE Research and Development department released an important update for the MAX.CP BL control unit, designed to operate SPARTACUS and MAXIMUM series bollards. In certain contexts, particularly where a high level of security is required, systems can be highly complex, and their management may require synchronizing multiple bollards. In these cases, the system’s complexity should be addressed with a technical solution that ensures the installer and the professional have the simplest possible setup.
BUS technology supports us in this regard, enabling serial communication with just two wires for a large number of control units (up to 16), each capable of managing up to 2 automatic bollards—for a total of 32 bollards. With the new MAX.CP BL firmware, connecting bollards has never been easier!
